“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
Carl G. Jung
About

I am a visual artist with an interest in metaphysics, perception and our potential as human beings.
For over a decade, I explored the potential that art has to inform the individual about the contents of the mind, conscious and unconscious. I have found this thematic surprising and absolutely fascinating, particularly if you allow the images to unfold by themselves rather than attempting to control their direction; a dark night of the soul.

In 2010 I took this body of work to Spain, creating an installation in a beautiful 16th C de-sacralized church. The experience included sound created ex-professo for this occasion. Further information about the the project can be found here. Once this event took place, I felt this form of working, with its particular drive to exist, had fulfilled its purpose.
I have realized there is a relationship between these “contents” I talk about, and what manifested in my life as a result of their presence  in the form of thoughts:
As I realize the amazing potential of the brain to interact with (what is referred as) pre-space, my life has turned into an opportunity of making this information conscious, un-inventing myself, a bit of a dissolution, which allows shedding conditioned responses and giving way to more freedom in the creative arena.
In 2019 I was given a grant by the Mexican government, the project awarded is part of the Sistema Nacional de Creadores (National System of Creators). The progress should be reflected in due time in this website.
